ClickAlgo Product Requirements

Most of our products that do not use a rich user interface will work out of the box with no problems for the customer. Some products like the Risk & Reward Tool or the Algo Strategy Builder may not show correctly when using versions of Windows 10 that have not been fully service packed.

Windows 7

Our products are advertised to work on Windows 10 or 11 and not Windows 7, but it may be possible to get them to work by installing the Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8, make sure you choose the RunTime version. Also make sure Windows 7 is up to date with service packs.

Windows 10

We have tested our products on Windows 10 Home & Pro 22H2 Build 19045.3996 and everything works correctly, if you are using an older build of Windows then we recommend that you install the latest service packs with a Windows Update.

Possible Errors

If you are not using the latest build of Windows 10 there is a chance that our products will show a blank screen or you may receive the message "Crashed in OnStart with COMException the access code is invalid"

Possible Fixes

If you are still having problems using some of our products, you can try a clean install of Windows 10, try and install on a different computer or upgrade to Windows 11. These problems happen on very rare cases and are reported once or twice a year.

Windows 11

All our products work with Windows 11, we recommend that all customers upgrade to this version if possible.

Mac OS

We are in the process of upgrading all of our products to work on the Mac Operating System, you can easily find if a product is macOS compatible by looking at the product page. Any of our products that use a rich user interface or custom screens will not work with the macOS. Please always download a trial copy first.

Blank Screens

Another common cause for a blank screen with some of our products is that your computers regional settings are conflicting with our applications, you can easily fix this by changing your regional setting to UK format.

Full Access Request

On some of our products you may see a window asking for full access when you start a cBot or attach an indicator, this is required to run the applications from cTrader, make you you select YES or the product will not function correctly. If you forget to do this, you can restart cTrader Desktop.
